Winter has arrived, and with it comes this stunning image of a bull elk standing in a meadow, perfectly framed by branches and a fallen tree. As I carefully moved through the landscape, I accidentally stepped on a branch, catching the elk’s attention. I froze in place but was able to quietly capture a series of shots, each beautifully composed. This one, my favorite, is titled FIRST SNOW, as it was taken during the first snowfall of the season.
